Writing Services

Blogs, Articles, Content, Short Stories, Long Stories. If you want engaging content at a very reasonable price, you can contact me via this website, email, or any of my social media links.

Pricing starts at $40 Australian an hour (approx. 25 USD). Payments can be made via Square, or Wise, and the details can be solidified at time of negotiating the service. I also accept payments via alternative methods, such as Bitcoin (and some other cryptocurrencies).

The pricing can vary from job to job, depending on the complexity of the piece, research and preparation needed to complete it, and any extra edits requested after the initial work is completed. This will all be made transparent BEFORE the work is commenced, so you will have no unwanted surprises.

But generally, and with reasonable accuracy, the list below will give you an estimate of the prices, listed in Australian Dollars.

  • 250 words: $45 AUD

  • 500 words: $90 AUD

  • 750 words: $130-150 AUD

  • 1000 words: $170-210 AUD

The variance in larger pieces is due to factors such as time spent on research, preparation, complexity and editing.

Upon completion of a piece, I will provide any minor edits at the request of the client for free. If the edits are significant, there may be additional cost, depending on the specific case.

Editing Services

  • $50 AUD per quoted hour

I provide a variety of editing services, from Copy Editing, Proof-reading, Content Editing, and Structural Editing. My specialty is in content and structural editing - I will help you get to the heart of your story and provide valuable guidance, narrative tools and perspective.

Editing work will be calculated via an hourly rate of $50. We will have an initial meeting, in which I will give you a quote, determined by the type of editing requested (proofreading, copy editing or content editing), and the size of the work.

In this initial meeting we will also discuss the nature of the work, and you may voice and queries you might have. A sample chapter can be provided beforehand, or we might go through a synopsis/summary during the initial meeting so that you can get an idea of my method and style.

This initial meeting is free, so that you can be convinced of my work and value of my service without needing to provide unnecessary trust. I want you to be happy with the work, and to know you’re in competent hands.

The quote will be fixed before any contracts are agreed upon, so you will know the cost upfront.

Questions & Assurances

Before I start writing

Before the writing begins and a contract is made, there will be an initial communication stage between us.

Here, we will work out what it is you want written - I will provide ideas, and eventually an outline of the piece. If the client has any specific requests or requirements, this is where we will clarify them.

This way, the client will know what to expect before the writing commences.

First and foremost, I want you to be aware of what you are purchasing and I want you to be satisfied with the final product. It is a matter of personal integrity that I provide you with work I myself am proud of.

How long will it take?

The deadline will be negotiated during the initial communication stage. In general, a piece of writing should have a turnover of no more than two weeks.

Express deadlines can be negotiated at extra cost.

If for any reason something extreme occurs, and a deadline might not be met, I will inform you ASAP and endeavour to rectify the situation.

Not Happy with something?

In the result of a miscommunication - resulting in a piece that is not what you requested - or some other dissatisfaction with the work, I will do my utmost to resolve the issue. A free rewrite/edit will be offered, if the fault is with me.
Note: The work must be significantly different to the initially agreed upon request. Change of mind is not a reasonable grounds for compensation.
